All Settled In

11:28am. We have been in our home for a full two weeks, and have finally finished unpacking boxes. I didn't share the news, because I wanted it to be official... And then when it was official, I just never got around to posting. So here we are. Enjoy the photos![1. Click to enlarge]
We moved to a subdivision located on one of the Sea Islands. It's a quiet neighborhood, and we have lots of space for JJ to run around.
In the front yard

The front yard has trees that separate the surrounding houses.

Living room

The inside is an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings.

Kitchen (minus the bar)

The kitchen is a nice size. A bar [2. Not pictured] separates the living area.

JJ's room

We gave JJ the second biggest bedroom. We still have a lot of decorating to do in here.

Hall bath

The hall bath is for JJ and guests.

Master BedroomMaster bath

The master bedroom as a vaulted ceiling and a walk-in closet. The master bath is also ensuite.

Small patio
The Storage Shed
In the backyard

The backyard is great! It's completely fenced in, has a small patio, and a fully powered storage shed.

Well that completes the tour!

I love your new home Terin? Are you renting or owning? I'm happy for you guys. Especially about the walk in closet.

We are renting for a year with the option to buyout the property at any time. I love it though, so we have decided to buy it.

Congrats on your lovely home! It looks super cozy. The kitchen just looks like home and the backyard looks perfect for all kinds of toys, a pool, garden, and chickens. LOL, look at me trying to move in.

Thank you, Sheena! We were considering a garden and maybe a pool... Picnic tables... LOL! I have big ideas, but no motivation.

I love the vaulted ceilings. They make the room look so much bigger. We moved into our house about four months ago. I am still trying to make it a home, so don't feel bad for the lack of motivation. And what a lucky little guy he is to have all that space to run around and play!
